Berry Meadow Yarn - Elle

Our own Berry Meadow Yarn made from the fleece of Elle, mom of our blue ribbon winning full peruvian herdsire Impervious Gold. White worsted/aran weight. Super soft 100% Alpaca. Produced and spun in the USA. 65-75g skeins, 100 yards. Elle is white and of full peruvian descent. Alpaca breeders in Peru breed for white animals since white alapacas tend to have finer fleeces and white fleece can be dyed to any color. Knitters love the feel of Berry Meadow Yarn. Our fleeces are hand skirted by Carole (a very time consuming process) and sent to a mill in the USA for spinning following Carole's strict instructions.
