Berry Meadow Yarn - Sally

Our own Berry Meadow Yarn made from the fleece of Sally, one of the first alpacas to join our herd back in 2001. Dark Brown worsted/aran weight. Super soft 100% Alpaca. Produced and spun in the USA. 65-75g skeins, 100 yards. Sally produces a dense fast growing fleece. Her shearing weight (the weight of the prime blanket area fleece taken off each May) is quite high. Knitters love the feel of Berry Meadow Yarn. Our fleeces are hand skirted by Carole (a very time consuming process) and sent to a mill in the USA for spinning following Carole's strict instructions.
