Berry Meadow Yarn - Fiona

Our own Berry Meadow Yarn made from the fleece of Fiona, our multi-colored champion. Varigated brown & white worsted/aran weight. Super soft 100% Alpaca. Produced and spun in the USA. 75-85g skeins, 100 yards. When Emily (at age 10) saw Fiona at an alpaca show in 2003, she knew we just had to add her to our herd. We agreed! Fiona has a beautiful color pattern (please see photo below) and produces a unique yarn which is predominately brown with white fiber dispersed throughout. What unique knit garments this yarn makes. Knitters love the feel of Berry Meadow Yarn. Our fleeces are hand skirted by Carole (a very time consuming process) and sent to a mill in the USA for spinning following Carole's strict instructions.
