Berry Meadow Farm, established by Kevin & Carole Schumann in 1999, has been raising alpacas since 2001. Carole's focus on fiber has led to the creation of our highly successful Alpackits line of alpaca knitting and crochet kits.

Alpackits enable knitters of all abilities to experience the incredible fiber of the alpaca while creating fine garments and accessories including scarves, hats, gloves and ponchos. Each kit includes the material necessary to hand-knit or hand-crochet an alpaca garment using detailed instructions for one of Carole’s unique designs.

Berry Meadow Yarn is available in limited quantities and has quickly become the yarn of choice for many fiber artists. Berry Meadow Yarn is milled in the USA and comes in naturally occurring colors. We do not dye our yarn, but use only the 22 recognized alpaca colors and blends.

Our alpaca garments and accessories offer unparalleled warmth, softness and comfort. Alpaca is a truly luxurious fiber that can be worn and enjoyed for many years. Alpaca garments make wonderful gifts.
